We take your privacy seriously and apply appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information in line with applicable laws. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
For App Store: In App Store Connect, the App Privacy answers (data linked to you, used for tracking, etc.) must accurately reflect this policy and the App’s actual behavior. Apple may reject apps if disclosures are incomplete or inconsistent.
1. Scope
This policy applies to our processing of personal information when you use the mobile App. If the App links to third-party websites or services, those services have their own policies; we are not responsible for their practices—please read their policies before you proceed.
2. Information we collect
Depending on your use of the App and permissions you grant, we may collect:
- Account information, such as phone number, email address, account identifier, nickname, or profile photo if you provide them when you register or sign in.
- Content you provide, such as music file metadata (title, artist, etc.), playlists, favorites, results of local library scans, and text you submit in feedback forms.
- Device and technical information (where applicable), such as device model, OS version, app version, network type, and diagnostic or crash data to maintain security and improve stability.
We do not collect precise location by default. If a future feature requires location, we will ask for your permission separately and explain the purpose.
3. Permissions
The App may request permissions such as (actual names vary by OS version):
- Storage / media / files: to read local audio, cache artwork and lyrics, and save content you choose. You can revoke this in system settings; some features may not work without it.
- Network access: for sign-in, sync, streaming, and updates.
- Notifications: for account-related or service messages. You can turn these off in system settings.
We do not enable permissions unrelated to the feature you are using. You may change or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.
4. How we use information
We use information to: provide and improve the App; authenticate users and protect security; respond to support requests; comply with law or lawful requests; and for other purposes with your consent where required.
We do not use your personal information for unrelated marketing unless we obtain your separate consent.
5. Retention and security
- We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, unless a longer period is required by law.
- We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
- If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including the nature of the incident and steps we take.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these cases:
- With your explicit consent;
- When required by law or by a competent authority;
- With service providers who assist us (e.g. cloud storage, push notifications, analytics), under contracts that require them to protect information and process it only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy.
We do not transfer your personal information to another company except in a merger, acquisition, or similar event, in which case we will require the successor to honor this policy or notify you of changes.
7. Third-party SDKs and services
The App may integrate third-party SDKs. They process data under their own policies. Examples that may apply:
- Push notifications: Jiguang (JPush) — to deliver notifications.
- Cloud storage / CDN: Tencent Cloud COS — to store or distribute content you upload or cache.
More detail may be available in the App’s “About” section or a separate SDK list. We require vendors to use appropriate security measures.
8. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; request a copy of your data; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You may exercise these rights through in-app settings where available, or by contacting us using the details at the end of this policy. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by law.
9. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required for valid consent in your jurisdiction without parental consent. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. International transfers
If servers or processors are located outside your country, we will take steps required by law to protect your information (e.g. appropriate safeguards or your consent).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Material changes may require your consent where required by law.
